Never will return or recommend to anyone.
This is a small town dealership, they actually care about the customer and their reputation. Service is great they don't hide anything and are honest.

The whole ordeal was very unprofessional and lies along the way by them.
Nice cars, sales people nice, bit pricey, not great with finding best car for price.
When i called from the highway and explained my issue, the gentleman was very accommodating and was able to see my vehicle immediately. They made sure every step of the way that i was informed of the actual issue, cost, time and labor. It was great and I'm feeling so much safer! Thanks Shields in Rantoul
Tried to purchase a Ford Sport Trac, was told they could finance me but not for that car as it had too many miles on it (134000), Salesman offered me a few cars that would work, I told him I really wanted an SUV or truck. So he offers me an Avalanche, that was 5 years older than the initial vehicle and had 50,000 miles on it. Even though there was an Avalanche on the lot that fit the limits set out by the Finance company. Seems like they were just trying to clear their lot of junk. When I balked at the older vehicle they tried pushing me to a Buy Here Pay Here lot in Rantoul with higher interest.
So in the end my credit report was hit 5 times in 7 hours from shields auto.
All Terry could say it was my fault cause I had to trade my current vehicle in ,,,,lol. It was dealer who said I had to trade my current vehicle in.
Applied for pre-approval of course was emailed a $25k pre-approval certificate. Was emailed by darci shields and then a response via email from Terry (salesman) thanking me for Inquiring about a car. Was never contacted again until I contacted them. Was told by Terry I was approved for the vehicle but I had to trade in my present vehicle. Asked Terry several times who was approving the loan ( asked several times and Terry kept saying he could get that information for me but never did). Took my vehicle to the dealer to be appraised ( Mr shields) never did get the amount of the appraisal. So I had to.leave and never was contacted until I called Terry around 6 pm (big tent event) after noticing my credit report was hit by shields and 4 other creditors.. yes I was upset
