Hap E Dog owners and groomers go beyond general pet care. They educate,support and love on my dog. I have a Newfoundland / Great Pryenees mix named Allie. My Allie and I have been customers of Hap-E- Dog for three years. During that time I have learned to care for her ears, coat and nails so that Allie really is a Happy Dog. I am thankful that I have an affordable and friendly place to take my dog so close to where I live. I appreciate the free education I have received on ways to care for my beloved pet. The staff is very rude, they can't really handle dogs because they complain if your dog has an accident on their floor and threaten to make you pay for the cleaning. My mother is disabled and suffers from depression. She has a male service dog who she took to them because she can't bathe him herself. She let her dog out before she took him AND he peed twice before we went into the building and they tied him to a wall because they weren't even ready to groom him even though they told her to bring him in early. He peed inside probably due to the fact other dogs have and the forced her to drive back there and get him and was very rude to her. If they cant handle dogs having accidents being tied to the wall waiting to be groomed they are in the wrong business. They seem to take a bunch of dogs at once and expect your animal to sit there patiently and not go to the bathroom. My mom has taken other service dogs there before and the lady would be nicr most of the time but the male was always rude.
We go for the pet wash stations and just love it. Super cheap to wash your dog yourself. While I am there the owner always squeezes in nails for both our pugs, which is not easy. Each time, they offer to let our dogs sit under the dryer until we are ready to go (or come back and get them.) Wonderful customer service at great prices!
We have three dogs. Jan and her crew treat them like their own. I am very happy with the service at Happy Dog.
